Refund Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
1. Try before you pay
Every new business gets a 14-day free trial with full access, no card needed to start. The trial exists precisely so you can make sure Garmel is right for your shop before paying anything.
2. Subscription fees
Garmel is a business-to-business (B2B) service. Subscription fees (€89/month) are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again. Consumer cooling-off rights under EU Directive 2011/83/EU do not apply to business subscribers. If you are legally treated as a consumer despite subscribing, any mandatory cooling-off or refund rights remain unaffected.
3. How to cancel
Cancel anytime from your dashboard billing page, two clicks, no phone call, no email required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Membership payments to businesses
Membership plans that customers buy from a business through Garmel are a contract between the customer and that business. Refunds of membership payments are at the discretion of, and processed by, the business concerned (via Stripe). The 5% platform application fee on a refunded membership payment is returned in line with Stripe's refund mechanics.
5. Your data after cancellation
After cancellation your account is paused. Your data (including your customer list) is retained for 30 days so you can export it or reactivate, after which it is permanently deleted, except for financial records we must keep for 7 years. See the Business Subscriber Agreement and Privacy Policy.
6. Billing errors
If you believe you were billed in error, contact [email protected] within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate and correct genuine errors promptly.
